AMHH
(Auntie M's Helping Hands) Receives Charity Status Just in
Time for the Annual Miss Auntie M's Pageant of 2002!

Auntie
M's Helping Hands (AMHH), an organization formed from
the famous Long Island bar and lounge Auntie M's is dedicated to raising funds to help assist other
GLBT organizations here on Long Island. They have now received
501(c)3 status which means contributions are tax deductible.
Just in time for their annual Miss Aunite M's Pageant being
held on Sunday, February 17th at The Vanderbilt in Plainview,
NY (1600 Round Swamp Road in Plainview. Their phone is 631-694-6200).
It is a Sunday night, but don't fret because most will have
the following Monday off for President's Day. So enjoy the
night.
The
event is benefiting Long
Island Lesbian Cancer Initiative (LILCI) and AMHH.
Featuring a cocktail hour, top shelf open bar, five course
sit down dinner, live show, dancing, and more. Hosted by Ariel
Sinclair.
Tickets
are $75 per person. Tickets available up until the day of
the pageant at Auntie M's and AMHH (though it is recommended
that you purchase your tickets early so seating can be arranged
